 A cool tool, but not what I was looking for I was looking for a tool that would run a screen-saver pattern on part of my windows screen. I use a Laptop computer and a CRT display, and extend the windows desktop onto both of them. I keep SCADA-type stuff on one (one side, if you will), and actively interact with the other side . . . so I am concerned with burn-in. But it is probably too much to hope for, for a screen-saver to monitor half of a 1920x768 virtual screen, and run pixel-saver patterns on the relatively inactive half. I was not able to use the tool to monitor shares on a remote system.I was not sure from the description if it could or could not so downloaded and installed and tested it to confirm.I uninstalled and deleted the downloaded file.I have subsequently found a script method which will do what I wanted.

 Hi,I followed a link to download a version of true image that you were supposedly distributing as free for home use so I could evaluate it at home before recommending the corporate version to the schools that I work for.unfortunately after creating an account the free download was not available and I cancelled the "True image echo" download after looking at the pricing as I found it to be a lot more costly than the Altiris solution offered to me by Symantic.
